Magnetic Fishing Game

This game has been one of my daughter’s favorite activities ever since it made it onto her shelf when she was around 2. At that time she was fascinated by the magnets. She still plays with it at 4 years old.

This game comes with two fishing poles which means mom and dad can play with it too! So it’s been the perfect opportunity for us to model and for her to learn social skills, such as taking turns and resilience. Plus, the fish have numbers so we call out the numbers as we “catch” the fish.

It provides great practice for motor skills, hand-eye coordination, color and number recognition, and facilitates the development of cognitive skills such as problem solving, language and concentration.
