Valentine’s Day-inspired Glueing Activity

This activity is great for fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. 

I made this natural glue using only three ingredients:

• 30 ml corn starch
• 120-150 ml cold water
• 1 tbsp white vinegar

It’s super simple to make and very easy to clean (leaves no residue).

If your child is just learning how to use glue, I recommend offering a non-toxic glue such as this one, in an open small container with a brush that can be used to spread the glue on the paper.

Cleaning up is part of the learning process, so make sure to encourage your child to tidy up after they finish playing. Model how to do it until your child feels confident enough to initiate the tidying up process independently.
