The bone chart in this activity was still a bit too advanced for A at this time so we just focused on the names of a few main bones. She had the chance to build the skeleton on the chart and was fascinated by the x-rays and the technology behind it, which we will now need to look into to answer some of her questions. 😀
Also, when your child asks you a question that you don’t have the answer for, it is actually a great opportunity to teach them that knowledge comes through seeking information. So invite them to research on their books and then on the internet with you to find the answers to their questions. This will help nurture their curiosity while also promoting a love of learning.
Cleaning up is part of the learning process, so make sure to encourage your child to tidy up after they finish playing. Model how to do it until your child feels confident enough to initiate the tidying up process independently.
