My daughter loves to collect and play with Autumn nature finds or related items she collects, so for this shelf rotation I tried to incorporate as many of them as I could.
On top (open-ended play):
🍂 Stacking rainbow and house
🍂 Peg family
🍂 Trees and mushrooms
From left to right:
🍂 DIY two-piece fall puzzles*
🍂 Fall items sorting tray
🍂 DIY leaves matching puzzle with Velcro
🍂 Apple threading
🍂 Chestnut transfer with pasta server
🍂 Rubber bands on mini pumpkin**
🍂 10 counting frame with pinecones
🍂 Autumn items mystery bag
Her favorite activity at the time was getting the rubber bands off the little pumpkin. Once the child has mastered this, you can increase the difficulty by presenting it undone so the child puts the rubber bands on the pumpkin themselves. This activity is great for working on fine motor skills and concentration.
